Carved from Golden Rosewood and Boxwood, the Staunton No 5 - The Fierce Knight Set has it's knights crafted in an aggressive style with a fearsome warhorse like expression and stance. The quality of this set is great, the pieces are weighted for a good hand-feel and are felted with green billiard cloth for smooth movement across the chess board.
This is a large set, the king stands 4" (10 cm) with a base diameter of 4.2 cm the set weighs in at about 900gWe recommend a Large or XL board with this set.
